each your dog to be a great companion and a polite family member using positive, science-based methods.

The cost for each seven-week course is $80 or $65 for animals adopted from Capital Area Humane Society and Capital Area Humane Society Members, or $35 for Capital Area Humane Society volunteers  and staff.

Classes are one hour/week, for seven consecutive weeks.

Basic Training for Puppies
For dogs under 6 months old
(must be at least 12 weeks old)

Basic Training for Dogs
For dogs 6 months or older

Class size is limited; please register early to secure your spot.  Payments are non-refundable.

First class is for owners only -- no dogs or puppies please.  Attendance is required.

Please bring:

Current vaccination records from your veterinarian.

Food allergy alert!  Peanut butter is used in class.

Wear casual clothing and athletic shoes.

Bully Breed Education Classes

Part training class, part support group, all  love--our Bully Breed Education Classes welcome pit bulls and their people.   Bully Breed class beginning May 11 is FULL - please email Amanda Spires at Amanda.Spires@gmail.com to be placed on a waiting list for the next session.
