Dog and Puppy Training

each your dog to be a great companion and a polite family member using positive, science-based methods.

The cost for each six-week course is $85 or $70 for animals adopted from Capital Area Humane Society and Capital Area Humane Society Members, or $40 for Capital Area Humane Society volunteers  and staff.  First class is for owners only -- no dogs or puppies please.  Attendance is required.

Please bring:

Current vaccination records from your veterinarian.  Food allergy alert!  Peanut butter is used in class.  Wear casual clothing and athletic shoes.

For dogs under 6 months old
(must be at least 12 weeks old)

Class size is limited; please register early to secure your spot.  Payments are non-refundable.

Bully Breed Education Classes

Part training class, part support group, all  love--our Bully Breed Education Classes welcome pit bulls and their people.   The current Bully Breed class is FULL.  The next Bully Breed class begins mid-March at 7:30pm - please email Amanda Spires at Amanda.Spires@gmail.com to enroll.  Please note:  this class is held at DJ's Feed Store, located at 41 N.
