Adopt, don't shop.

Adopting an animal is one of the most rewarding life experiences. Find unconditional love with a shelter pet that is homeless through no fault of their own.

We want your new pet to be successful in your home.  We'll share any information we have regarding their ability to live happily with small children, pets of other species, etc.  If it doesn't work out, we have a 14 day refund policy and we want you to tell us about your experience so we can continue our quest to help the pet find the right home.  If you are adopting a dog we suggest that you bring any other dogs in the home into the shelter for an on-site introduction prior to adopting.

All our animals online reflect exactly who’s available on our adoption floor. If they aren’t online, they’ve already gone home. So plan to visit us often.

Where do our animals come from? The animals in our care have been brought to us by their owners for rehoming, admitted to our organization via our Cruelty Investigations Program, or transferred here via our EmBARK program that brings new hope for dogs in overcrowded rural shelters. Our cat population also includes stray kitties brought in by Good Samaritans.
