you considered volunteering for the Capital Area Humane Society lately?
Not only will you learn about animals and get lots of licks and
tail wags, but you will also meet others who share similar interests.
Volunteers at CAHS are making a difference!

Volunteer Areas -- Entry Level
Age Requirement
hile
the majority of our volunteers are age 16 or older, we do have
junior volunteers, ages 12-15. All junior volunteers are required
to work along side a parent, guardian or another adult volunteer
over 18-years-old. This is called the “Buddy System.”
It is important that all junior volunteers discuss becoming a
Humane Society volunteer with a “buddy” before orientation and
plan to attend together.
Humane Society volunteers ages 55 and up are eligible for special benefits available through
RSVP, a program of Firstlink.
