Reward Offered

The Capital Area Humane Society is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for two acts of animal cruelty involving cats shot with arrows.  Both incidents occurred in the vicinity of the Millstone Lake apartment complex on the southeast side.

Callie was rescued on Tuesday, April 1 and underwent surgery on Thursday, April 3 to repair her fractured leg. 

 

Update! (Friday, April 4) Callie is awake and alert today during her exam.  During surgery yesterday, Dr. Larry Hill repaired Callie's leg by inserting a pin. 

 

Stryder was rescued on December 21.  Stryder has recovered and now lives with her forever family.

Stryder is one of the victims of animal cruelty whose story is part of "Remember Us"
